Science and Technology Studies Scholar
Timo Bühler
Welcome to my digital home. . .
Currently I’m a ‘Science-Technology-Society’ Master student at the University of Vienna. Furthermore, I work as teaching assistant for the lecture ‘Theory and history of science’ at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Vienna. Additionally I'm working for the project 'Wanderers of Changing Worlds | Climate Walk', where I take care of partnerships, funding and the IT infrastructure. Since 2018 I'm also a lecturer for different topics at the Cooperative State University of Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart.
Before all these things I finished my Bachelor degree in Business Information Management and worked four years at IBM in different job positions and countries.
I’m especially interested in the intersection of science, technology and society as well as in the topics education, algorithms and sustainability. Within my current studies I’m focusing primarily on the relation of time, its ubiquitous faces and information technologies. For my master thesis I'm thus doing research on 'habit tracking applications' and their developers.
In my leisure I love to code, read different forms of literature, and write poems and stories myself.
